Il obtient une licence en Arts du Spectacle option danse \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 Paris VIII. Il continue sa formation aupr\u00e8s de Mathilde Monnier, dans le cadre de la Formation Professionnelle du CCN de Montpellier en 2001. Parrall\u00e8lement, il travaille avec diff\u00e9rentes compagnies \u00e0 Londres, Zurich et Turin. Il entame son parcours de chor\u00e9graphe par la composition de deux cr\u00e9ations\u00a0: La cravate en 2001 et <i><b>duO<\/b><\/i><sub><i><b>2 <\/b><\/i><\/sub>en 2002. En 2004, il cr\u00e9e la Compagnie de la Mentira au sein de laquelle il compose plusieurs pi\u00e8ces o\u00f9 danse et texte s\u2019entrem\u00ealent\u00a0: <i><b>Le MenSonge<\/b><\/i>, <i><b>Potosi<\/b><\/i>, <i><b>La montagne d\u2019argent<\/b><\/i>, <i><b>Intimidit\u00e9<\/b><\/i>, <i><b>Patetico<\/b><\/i>, <i><b>French Kiss<\/b><\/i>, <i><b>Tout va bien<\/b><\/i>, <i><b>Entrelac\u00e9s<\/b><\/i>, <i><b>Le Nombril<\/b><\/i> et <i><b>Tango Paradoxe<\/b><\/i>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">En 2005, \u00e0 Montpellier,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\"><b>il cr\u00e9e le concept des \u00ab\u00a0Hors Lits\u00a0\u00bb,<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">\u00a0performances en appartement permettant exp\u00e9rimentations et rencontres avec le public dans une grande proximit\u00e9. Depuis les \u00ab\u00a0Hors Lits\u00a0\u00bb se sont install\u00e9s \u00e0 Toulouse, Marseille, Bordeaux, Rennes, Paris, Montreuil, Vevey, B\u00e9ziers, S\u00e8te, N\u00eemes, Nantes, Bruxelles\u2026<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">En 2008, il suit le programme \u00ab<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\"><i><b>\u00a0Transforme<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">\u00a0\u00bb dirig\u00e9 par Myriam Gourfynk, \u00e0 la Fondation Royaumont, qui lui permet d\u2019entamer une d\u00e9marche de\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\"><b>recherche sur la notion d\u2019\u00e9criture chor\u00e9graphique<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">Parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 son parcours de danseur et de chor\u00e9graphe,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\"><b>Leonardo Montecchia enseigne la composition chor\u00e9graphique et le Tango &#8211; contact<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">, en donnant des stages en Europe et Am\u00e9rique latine. Il anime \u00e9galement de nombreux ateliers de danse aupr\u00e8s de divers publics amateurs\u00a0&#8211; personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es, personnes handicap\u00e9es, adolescents, \u00e9tudiants, ou scolaires \u2013 et s\u2019attache \u00e0 valoriser le potentiel de chaque individu et \u00e0 le guider par l\u2019exp\u00e9rience du mouvement, vers la d\u00e9couverte et le ressenti d\u2019un autre corps possible.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\"><b>Actuellement il travaille en tant que chor\u00e9graphe, metteur en sc\u00e8ne et p\u00e9dagogue pour la Compagnie de la Mentira<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">; comme\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\"><b>chor\u00e9graphe, interpr\u00e8te<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\"><b>et enseignant<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">\u00a0pour plusieurs compagnies, et institutions en France (Cie du Petit Cot\u00e9, Cie Astrolabe, Cie Les Fourmis Rousses, Cie Les Grisettes, F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Fran\u00e7aise de Danse, et l&rsquo;Op\u00e9ra Junior de Montpellier), et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger (Universit\u00e9 du Centre de la Province de Buenos Aires, Universit\u00e9 du Sud, et Ecole municipale de Danse de Buenos Aires, Argentine.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Leonardo Montecchia, Chor\u00e9graphe.
